The short version. Write to us within 7 days of buying and we refund you in full. No reason needed. Your data stays on your computer and Ledger keeps working on the free version.
Email ledger@whyitcosts.com within 7 days of your purchase. Write from the address the key was issued to, or include the key. We normally reply within one business day.
Ledger Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Your receipt comes from Dodo and the charge appears on your statement as DODOPAY, not as Ledger. If you are looking at a charge you do not recognise, that is what it is. Write to us before disputing it with your bank and we will sort it out faster.
We start the refund as soon as we reply. Your bank or card provider usually takes five to ten working days to show it. Refunds go back to the method you paid with. There is no fee for a refund.
A refunded key stops working. Ledger carries on as the free version, and everything you entered stays on your computer, visible and exportable. Nothing is deleted. If the computer is online that usually happens within a few hours; offline, the next time it connects, and within a week either way.
Ledger is free to download and use, so you can see how it handles your own records before you spend anything. Buy Pro when you have a loan, a deposit or a debt you want it to work out for you, and this refund is here if it turns out not to fit.
There are none. Pro is a single payment, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews.
